Chief Executive Officer
David has built a successful career in senior technology management, working with McKinsey, Capgemini, and Unipart. More recently, he led and grew a successful global finance business.
A true petrolhead, David has combined his passion for cars with his extensive experience in finance and asset management to create TheCarCrowd, bringing people closer to the cars of their dreams.
SIREESH NALLANTHIGHAL
Chief Technology Officer
Being one of the first investors in the business and a shareholder of the first ever car, Sireesh is now our CTO, driving our technology forward.
Previously, Sireesh spent 16 years working in retail in senior IT and Operations roles for ALDI as well as operating as a Non Exec Director. He shares the teams’ vision of bringing people closer to the cars they love.
Kirsty Spickett
Chief Marketing Officer
Kirsty has worked at the senior and c-suite level in a number of successful FinTechs, including Capital One, Clearscore, Monese and Zilch.
Passionate about women in business, Kirsty was a co-founder of the successful networking group, Bloom, which after a decade has grown to be one of London’s most recognised networking and mentoring groups for senior women.

Our History
TheCarCrowd was founded with a mission to disrupt traditional investments and  unlock classic cars for the masses. Making it clear and simple to diversify your money into a high-performing asset class, previously reserved only for the ultra-wealthy.
The CarCrowd gains regulatory permissions allowing investors to be protected when investing their money.
With 20+ years of curating investible grade classic cars already under the curation team’s belt, the first asset launched on the platform – a Peugeot 205 GTI funds, shortly followed by a Renault Clio V6.
Articles in Forbes, AUTOCAR and UK Investor appear, increasing customer trust and attracting more savvy investors to the platform.
The company expands, bringing more experienced curators into the team and increasing to over 75 years. Asset average value increases as well, and user base doubles from 1,000 to 2,000, demanding more high-value assets.
First distribution partner GetChip secured, Ferrari Testarossa funded at £210K. Fastest funded asset – a 4,000 mile S1 Lotus Elise goes through the platform in less than 24 hours.
TheCarCrowd continues to grow with active users doubling to over 4,000. Collaboration with Swiss platform Splint Invest allows us further distribution channels sourcing £500k in assets to date. Total curated portfolio nearing £2M with an ARR of 20%.
Collaboration with Konvi kicks off. Demand for increasingly high-value assets and curated portfolios from private individuals as well as partnerships lead us to branch out into further investment opportunities. We are a platform dedicated to sourcing the most investable and extraordinary machines in the world whilst providing valuable and insightful content to our community.
TheCarCrowd re-launches to cater for demand from family offices and ultra-high-net-worth investors as well as a new CGT Free syndication structure.
